We know and understand the power of the Holy Spirit. It is only through a relationship with Jesus Christ that you can truly be saved from addiction.

RECOVERY

We are many things but we are not sober living. We are recovery. We don't just aim to help you overcome an addiction, but to uncover who God intended you to be.

HOME

A house has four walls. Bush-League Pinch Hitters is a Recovery Home. We are welcoming, engaging, real-life men recovering from addiction, helping others to find the same peace and fulfillment in Christ.

NON-PROFIT

We are a 501(c)(3) organization that flourishes from God's blessings through volunteers, physical & monetary donations.

It's easy to convince yourself you are, but

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

MILLION

48.5 million (16.7%) Americans (aged 12 and older) battled a substance use disorder in the past year.

MILLION

An estimated 54.2 million people aged 12 and older needed treatment for a substance use disorder in the past year. Only 23% of those received the treatment needed. You are not alone.

PERCENT

40.1% of Americans 12 or older who could not get the treatment they needed in the past year said they did not seek treatment because they thought it was too expensive.

Why call it Bush-League Pinch Hitters?

Because we can't expect to WIN, when we put god on the bench.

Whether we had been believers or unbelievers, we began to get over the idea that the Higher Power was a sort of bush-league pinch hitter, to be called upon only in an emergency.

The notion that we would still live our own lives, God helping a little now and then, began to evaporate. Many of us who had thought ourselves religious awoke to the limitations of this attitude. Refusing to place God first, we had deprived ourselves of His help.

But now the words "Of myself I am nothing, the Father doeth the works" began to carry bright promise and meaning.
